Reedemed from the Curse of the Law

Jesus Christ came to save us. What does that mean? What is the danger that every person is in? Mankind’s main problem is that he is rebel against God and has come under ‘the curse of the law,’ God’s law. The law is righteous, holy, and good, but as such strongly demands the death of everyone who hates and rebels against God. This is the condition of all of us before God. Therefore in order to satisfy the law, Christ became a man, died on the cross, and took this very curse of death and destruction upon himself. Herein is shown the love and salvation of God. Jesus Christ did what we so desperately needed. He earned the blessing of the law for us, and took the curse of the law for us. Praise the Lord!

Galatians 3:13-14 – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.
